A new Walks view on the Map tab shows your lifetime stats and your planned routes, all in one place.
Revisited Munros
Munros you’ve climbed more than once are shown differently on the map and checklist — useful if you’re working through a second round.
Companion+
Follow-Along Maps
Navigate your route on a live map that follows your position, shows your remaining summits, and records your breadcrumb trail. Close out with a completion log when you’re done.
Achievement notifications
A badge on the Profile tab tells you when you’ve earned something new. Tap through to Achievements to see what unlocked and share it.
Social feed
Follow fellow Munroists, react to their completions, and share your own walks and routes with the Compleating community.

Difficulty on the map
Region bubbles on the zoomed-out map now show how many Munros match your difficulty filter, so you can see at a glance where to focus.

Share your routes
Post a planned route to the social feed. Anyone following you can save it to their own library with one tap.
Share card templates
Three formats for sharing your walks: a stats card, a route map with your GPS overlay, and a summit card. Available from walk summary and Munro detail.
Companion Pro
Hike resume
If your phone dies mid-walk your GPS track, timing, and route position are saved. Open the app to resume where you stopped.
Drag waypoints
Long-press any waypoint in the route planner to reposition it on the map.
Summit alerts while pocketed
Summit detection now fires even when the app is in the background.

Every Munro has at least one walking route with a map, elevation profile, and Naismith estimated time. Popular hills have multiple options including remote approaches.
Bagging made simple
Log a completion with date, star rating, photos, weather conditions, and the people you walked with. Supports repeat ascents for those going round a second time.
Your progress, at a glance
The Stats tab shows total distance, ascent, streaks, and a Munro-by-section breakdown across all 17 geographic areas.
